GANGNAM STYLE is no longer most viewed video on YouTube.

YouTube has a new most-watched video of all time.

The official clip for Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth's See You Again has overtaken Gangnam Style to become the most popular video on YouTube.

As of Tuesday, the official music video had been viewed more than 2,896,510,794 times - ahead of Gangnam Style's 2,894,798,016 YouTube views. Justin Bieber's Sorry remains the third most-watched YouTube video of all time, with 2.63 billion views.

Gangnam Style was uploaded to YouTube almost five years to the day - on July 15, 2012.

See You Again was written for the Furious 7 soundtrack as a tribute to the late actor Paul Walker. Walker and a close friend died in 2013 when the Porsche they were in crashed and burst into flames.

The tragedy occurred while Furious 7 was still shooting. While production was originally suspended, the filmmakers - with permission from Walker's family - later used special effects in order to finish his character's scenes.
