Kathmandu Metropolitan City had positively intervened for garbage collection that was halted for 18 days and garbage collection started last Wednesday. Despite the resumption, Kalanki, Kalimati and Khasi Bazaar, among other areas and public thoroughfares had mounds of garbage piled up.
