Nepal climbed five spots in the FIFA world ranking to reach 181st position owing to the recent win the AFC Solidarity Cup held in Malaysia.
India leads the ranking amongst South Asian countries retaining the 137th position followed by Afghanistan at 147. Likewise, Maldives also progressed to 154th place from its earlier 158th position followed by Bhutan who climbed three spots to 176th position.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh is trailing Nepal at 183rd position climbing 5 spots followed by Sri Lanka and Pakistan on 195th and 197th position respectively.

Similarly, Argentina retained the top position followed by Brazil in second position. Germany is trailing Brazil to secure the third position followed by Chilie, Belgiumand Columbia ranked 4th, 5th and 6th respectively.
Likewise, France was ranked 7th, Portugal 8th, Uruguay 9th and Spain secured the final spot in the list of world's top ten footballing nations.
