To
The Rt Hon.Prime Minister of Nepal,
Puspa Kamal Dahal
We would like to draw your strong attention into the recent political activity of Nepal after Government proposed the second amendment bill of the constitution to the Nepali Parliament dated 29th November 2016.
We call on the Government of the Nepal, The Office of the Prime Minister, The Presidency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to keep on eye & analyse the activities made by the Indian Ambassador to Nepal Mr Ranjit Rae, who has had time and again involved into Nepal’s internal politics beyond his professional protocols. Following the evaluation & public outrage we demand Nepal government authorities to declare Indian Ambassador for Nepal Ranjit Ray as "PERSONA NON GRATA" in Nepal.
Under Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations 1961, Nepal government can "at any time and without having to explain its decision" declare diplomat "persona non grata". Public strongly suggests to Nepal government to exercise this law.
A person so declared will be considered unacceptable & must be deported. His activities in current political scenario are a matter of deep concern and public believe that he must be deported. His remarks and comments have sparked an outrage in Nepal and worldwide within the Nepalese diaspora. His involvement & recent actions have intervened in peace, prosperity & sovereignty of a democratic nation. This has also led to a severe negative impacts on Nepal-India diplomatic affairs.
More prominently, his remarks violates the international diplomatic norms. Thus, We demand Ranjit Ray to be declared "persona non grata" immediately.
Kind Regards
Everest Gautam
