Madeira Airport is now renamed as Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport

The Madeira Airport of Portugal¨s Island has been renamed the Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport to honour the island's most famous citizen.
Ronaldo will likely return to action with Real against Alaves in La Liga on Sunday after scoring against both Sweden and Hungary for Portugal during the international break.

Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, previously known as Madeira Airport, informally also known as Funchal Airport, is an international airport in the civil parish of Santa Cruz, in the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira.
