One crore carpets are being replaced  to the President's Office


The government, which is fighting the Corona epidemic, has also donated ventilators from an NGO called Nick Simons. However, at the same time, the President's Office is preparing to change the carpet worth around Rs 10 million. CPN (Maoist) state MP Ram Bahadur Gurung has won the contract to replace the carpet in the building built only three years ago.


While the country is struggling against the corona virus, the president's office has returned the budget saying that it will not buy expensive cars and is spending Rs 10 million to replace the carpets. The rooms have been made grand by throwing carpets in the building which was completed only three years ago. The contract for changing the carpet at the President's Office belongs to Himalayan Decor Gandaki CPN (Maoist) MP Ram Bahadur Gurung. He has been elected from Tanahu-1 (a).

A special type of carpet is being made in the factory for the two big halls, 'said Sobha Gurung, manager of Himalaya Decor.



According to the President's Office, expensive carpets are being laid in the meeting room when foreign guests visit to enhance the country's prestige. "It's not the president's personal 
interest. A special type of carpet is being kept to promote Nepali carpets, and the country's reputation is also important when foreign guests come.
