Newly elected Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balendra Shah has taken oath of office and secrecy, today.Likewise, Sunita Dangol has taken an oath of office and secrecy as the Deputy Mayor of KMC.
Chief Returning Officer Raju Kumar Khatiwada administered the oath office and secrecy to now mayor and deputy mayor of the metropolis amid an event in the capital.Shah, and independent candidate, and CPN-UML's candidate Dangol had recently emerged victorious in the local level elections held on May 13.
After his swearing-in, Mayor Shah administered the oath of office and secrecy to the elected ward chairpersons and members of 32 wards.
